Retired teacher promises to donate one month’s pension for school’s devp every year

ITANAGAR, Aug 31: Government Higher Secondary School teacher (TGT) Mahendra Pratab Yadav was accorded a warm farewell on his superannuation today by the staff and students of the school.

In his speech, Yadav made an announcement that he would contribute his one month’s pension amount every year in August for the development of the school till he is alive and entitled to draw pension.

Yadav joined service as TGT (Social Science) on August 2, 1989 and was first posted at Government Secondary School, Yanman in Changlang district of Arunachal Pradesh and served in the school for two years till August 28, 1991.

His second place of posting was at Government Higher Secondary School, Bomdila in West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh and served there for 3 years.

After that, he was posted at Government Higher Secondary School, Itanagar where he served till his superannuation. He has served for 28 years in this school.

The farewell programme was organised in the school to wish him the best on his retirement. Various activities were performed during the programme.

Everyone congratulated him for completing his service tenure. The farewell function was one of the best functions ever in the history of Government Higher Secondary School, Itanagar.It could be held due to the contribution among the staff.
