PHED Yachuli Division conducted day-long Essay writing competition

𝐘𝐀𝐂𝐇𝐔𝐋𝐈, 𝟑𝟎 𝐉𝐚𝐧: As part of “Community Mobilization on JAL JEEVAN MISSION” the Public Health Engineering & Water Supply Department,Yachuli Division conducted a day long inter school competition of Essay writing today at Yachuli,Yazali,Talo & Deed.

The PHED&WS Yachuli Division,Govt.of Arunachal Pradesh organized the “Essay Writing”on the topic”Water Conservation/Rain Water Harvesting” under support activities being carried out throughout the nation in order to accelerate the Jan-Andolan for realization of the vision for providing potable water to each rural household in India under National flagship programme-Jal Jeevan Mission here today. 

In collaboration with the Department of School Education,Lower Subansiri district,the essay writing competition for students of Class VI to IX and X to XII under Junior and Senior categories was held.The word limit for both junior and senior groups was 200/300 minimum words.

As per the official notification,it’s stated that students would be good ambassadors for community mobilization activities.

The three best entries at the school level winners will be presented on the occasion of the statehood Day celebration on 20 February as informed by Er.Nich Raju,Executive Engineer PHED&WS,Yachuli Division. 

The school authorities will dispatch the names of 1st, 2nd and 3rd position holders with drawing & Answer Script papers to the DDSE office, Ziro latest by 1st February for final evaluation.

As many as 300 students, both boys and girls representing all 4 schools of Yachuli,Yazali,Talo and Deed took part in all these competitions.

While speaking to this freelancer, District Consultant (M & E-cum- MIS) Yachuli Division Coordinator,Toko Tania has informed that the event is organized by the department in collaboration with Headmasters/Principals of various schools of the respective schools.
