ITANAGAR, FEB 26 : The biggest festival of Nyishi tribe of state has been celebrated across the state and other parts of state with traditional fervor and gaiety. Report of celebration has been reported from various parts of state and country.
Chief Minister Pema Khandu joined the people of Tali in Kra Daadi district for mega Nyokum yullo festival celebration. He was accompanied by Namsai MLA CZ Namchool, Tali MLA Jikke Tako and host fo dignitaries form state government, Kra Daadi district administration and PRI leaders and general public.
NAHARLAGUN ;- The PHED & IT Minister Wangki Lowang attended the 25th Longtey Lotey Nyokum yullo celebration 2023 at Tegdo Pachin wherein he emphasis communal harmony, brotherhood and oneness which make a bonding among the Nyishi with other tribes of state. The PHED Minister appreciated the people form Nyishi tribe for preserving their rich tradition and culture. He also encourage the younger generation to know our own tradition and vulture and language.
PHED Chief Engineer Tomo Basar graced the occasion as guest of honour while PHED Itanagar division Executive Engineer also joined the celebration and prizes were given away for several games and sporting event and cultural completion which were performed earlier.
DOIMUKH ;- The Assam government Minister for health & family welfare Keshab Mahanta and Kanubari MLA attended the Nyokum Yullo celebration at Doimukh in Papum Pare district alongwith Doimukh local MLA Tana Hali Tara and host of officers and public leaders and PRI leaders and general public. Several social workers and public leaders form Assam and Arunachal also attended the function.
