TIGDO, May 28: The new executive members of the Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Alumni Association (VKV AA) was constituted today at VKV AA office at Vivekananda Centre for Human Excellence, Tigdo, Yupia.
Dr. Minggam Pertin assumes the charge of the Chairman VKV AA, while Giamde Tamin continues as the General Secretary for a second term.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Pertin said, “It is our prime duty to give back to the Vivekanada Kendra. He further added, ”Strengthening of the association with the larger participation of the youths will be his priority at the beginning”.
Vivekananda Kendra Arunachal Pradesh, Prant Sanghatak, Rupesh Mathur said, “The increase in alumni social activities will naturally lead to involvement of more members. He advised to make a list of calendar events of the alumni association so that the Alumni grows even further”.
Outgoing VKV AA Chairman, Taba Tatup advised the members present to takeup career counselling and motivational talks programmes for the VKV students. He also suggested organising regular health camps at VKV schools for teachers and other staff.
