Natung give deadline of October for completion of sports stadium at Aalo.

Aalo, Apr 5 : The Sports and Youth Affairs, WRD etc Minister Mama Natung on Wednesday has given October as deadline for completion of stadium at Aalo in West Siang district.

Natung alongwith Secretary Sports Anirudh Singh, West Siang Deputy Commissiiner Penga Tato, SP other heads of department of district and sports deptt carried out inspection of under construction Sports stadium at Aalo and interacted the officers and contractors.
Terming the urgent need of sports stadium as very important for promotion of games and sports in area the Minister has given the October 2023 as deadline for its completion. He ask the project engineer and contractor to increase of manpower and carryout the work 24×7 so that the stadium is completed in given deadline. Said Minister.
Reffering several upcoming outdoor and Indoor stadium in state the Sports Minister said that the state under the leadership of Chief minister Pema Khandu has taken up several project of indoor and outdoor stadium in various parts of state and few are also in Khelo India schemes too. He said.
Because of Covid pandamic few projects work progress were delayed but now most of the projects are in fasttrack and I have been visiting and taking review of all such projects in district. He said.
The stadium here at Aalo work progress is bit slow and I am hopeful that it is completed by October qith quality. The stadium at Chimpu is also delayed due to road damaged connecting Sange Laden sports Accadmy. The stadium at Tezu is also in progress. He said.
We have proposal to construct stadium in all district headquarter, as of now 52 double badminton court has been approved and work is in progress. 6 muntipurpose indoor hall has been competed is awaiting inauguration. Sports Minister added.
The state government will ensure fund for completion of all sports infrastructure in state for promotion of games and sports in state. He further said.
Taking a review meeting on the upcoming sports stadium, the Minister has directed the Deputy commaiioner to monitor the work progress and send the report to state government monthly basis.
