KAKOI, The All Nyishi Students’ Union (ANSU) President Nabam Dodum has appealed to the students community and youths to stay united and move forward in building the union to be strong and to step for the cause of the society.
Dodum was addressing the 19th foundation day celebration of All Kimin students union (AKSU) as chief guest. Dodum said that let each and every one know that the union exists for the greater interest of the society in the education sector and students welfare and other important issues of the community.
Referred to the 36 hours bandh call which has been “deferred” by the union on request from the CM Office to have a round table meeting regarding the 2 points demand placed against the state Government stating that by deferring the bandh call doesn’t mean to surrender or give up but after all shared that the Chief Minister of the state will discuss about the issue and pursue a chance to redress the issue at earliest. Dodum said.
The team ANSU also visited the Govt. Middle school, Kakoi and donated 30 pairs of benches and desks.
Puna Tapha, Students Activist attended as Guest of Honour. Several student leaders from AKSU, AAPSU, ANSU ALSDSU, BSUs of ANSU were present on the auspicious occasion.
