BORUM, JAN 8 : The Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) Nabam Rebia on Sunday visited and inspected under construction  railway bridge at Bourn connecting Lekhi with Naharlagun railway station and interacted locals and assured to its completion for public welfare.

Speaking to media, MP Rebia said that due to several reason the under construction railway bridge construction was delayed for several years and due to which the passengers for railway station and general people going to Yupia district headquarter and others area through Trans Arunachal Highway (TAH) was not materialized. The local people of Naharlagun and Nirjuli township has also been facing lost due to traffic chaos.  Once the said bridge come up the traffic flow of Naharlagun township will be drastically reduced and commuters can have a comfortable ride toward the district hq, Yupia, Doimukh and other places and the commuters can also take it as a circular road to reach Itanagar and other parts of capital complex. Said Rebia.

The contractor Techi Tame has assured to complete the work by March and hope that before April the work may be completed and ready for traffic movement.

The ongoing road construction of NH-415 of Package-B and C will also get a boost and will be helpful and the commuters will be benefited a lot. Added MP Rebia.
