Mountaineer Tagit Sorang Abraham won  Frontliners Awards 2021, 4th edition of NE Unsung Heroes Red Carpet Social Awards 2021

NAHARLAGUN, May 13: Mountaineer Tagit Sorang Abraham won the Frontliners Awards 2021 and the 4th Edition of Northeast Unsung Heroes Red Carpet Social Awards 2021 amidst who’s who at a ceremony held in Mumbai on Thursday.

The mountaineer, who is from Arunachal Pradesh, was nominated in the category of sports.

The 4th Edition of Northeast Unsung Heroes Red Carpet Award 2021 was held at Bombay Stock Exchange in Mumbai Maharashtra. The event was hosted by FIND STUDIOZ where around 32 Unsung heroes of 8 States of Northeast India were recognized for their contribution to the society.

Sorang, the youngest Everester from the State, was awarded for his outstanding contribution towards society and sports.

Earlier, he had won the International Mt Everest Expedition 2021 on May 31, 2021 at 8: 45 AM, reaching the summit of the World Mt Everest-8848.86 m (new Hight) and became a Youngest Everester of State Arunachal, Motto:”Say No To plastic”.

He is also the first Indian to join NIMAS & IMF winter trekking 2021 at Dirang in West Kameng District. The trekking of more than 12 days was conducted with the Motto: “Say No To Drugs Save Life” to motivate the youth of the State to remain fit.
