MoHFW Jt Secy ask the officers to dedicate to their duty with sincerity and commitment for promotion of health secretor of country

ITANAGAR, OCT 1 : Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Joint Secretary Rajiv Manjhi who is on two days visit to state to oversee and review the activities and progress of Ayushman Bhavah campaign in Arunachal Pradesh. He ask the officers to dedicate to the duty with sincerity and commitment for promotion of health sector in country. 

In morning hours the Joint Secretary has participated in cleanliness drive at TRIHMS and interacted the management and authority, staffs  and students of the lone medical college of state at Naharlagun.

A meeting was held in city hotel to discuses on the progress made during the Ayushman Bhavan Campaign. This meeting was attended by Secretary Health and Family Welfare, NHM MD, DHS and officials from Health department of state, The DMO and official from the districts joined the review meeting virtually. 

Later all the officials also joined a virtual meeting chaired by Jt Secretary Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India to orient on the Sankalp Saptah that is going to be held from 3rd to 9th of October 2023. 

While addressing the meeting the Jt Secretary Manjhi appreciated the State and districts on the progress made during the Ayushman Bhavah campaign. The Ayushman Bhavah which loosely translate to Long Living was, launched on 13thSeptember 2023 by the President of India and implemented from 17th of September 2023 onwards. This embodies a noble vision to ensure comprehensive healthcare services are available to every citizen, accessible as close to their homes as far as possible. The campaign has already witnessed enthusiastic participation and invaluable contributions from Arunachal Pradesh.

Under the AyushmanBhavah Campaign umbrella, remarkable efforts have been made through initiatives such as Ayushman Melas, Ayushman Sabha, and Ayushman Aapke Dwar. These initiatives have significantly propelled Ministry of Health and Family Welfare’s mission towards achieving the saturation of all healthcare schemes on a mission mode, providing a substantial uplift to the healthcare services available to our citizens. 

The Jt Secretary health Manjhi also addressed all the participants on the Sankalp Saptah program targeting Aspirational Blocks in Arunachal Pradesh under which Health Melas will be conducted in all the health facilities under aspirational blocks on  3rd of October 2023.
