ITANAGAR, September 8 : The Raga MLA of Raga assembly constituency under Kamle district Tarin Dakpe has urge upon the home department and state government for early establishment of Fire station. This issue was raised in the floor of the house on several occasion during the question hours.
Dakpe speaking to media inform hat the establishment of fire and emergency station at Raga in Kamle district is long pending demand of the general public. He stated that there has been major fire mishap, such fire mishap has been taking place in his assembly constituency in Boasimla and there is no fire station in the district either at Boasimla, Dolungmukh or at district headquarter at Raga. Due to unavailability fire station there has been lots of difficult during the time of disaster or emergency services. He said.
On several occasions in past there has been major fire accidents and several precious life has been lost and property worth crores has been gutted in divasted fire mishap in time and again and proposal is also given to the department and government including the Home ministry and CMO time and again. Said Dakpe.
Replying to the question, the Home & Border Affairs Minister Bamang Felix in a written reply to the house said that “ proposal has been received from fire and emergency service department for creation of post and establishment of new fire and emergency service at Raga, Kamle district”.
Meanwhile, Dakpe said that as per information three proposal for establishment in progress and hope that the fire and emergency service department may approve Raga one of them.
