The 60 bedded district hospital, Tezu is being constructed by PWD and 11 crore has been released as of now-Health Minister Alo Libang

ITANAGAR, SEPTEMBER 8 : The  60 bedded district hospital, Tezu in Lohit district is being constructed  by state PWD department and work is under progress. Said Health & Family welfare Minister Alo LIbang in the assembly on Thursday while relying to the question of Tezu MLA Karikho Kri. 

In a written reply to the house, the health Minister inform the house that “ the project Up gradation of district hospital, Tezu is being taken up under RIDF scheme through the executing agency ie, PWD (EZ) at an estimated cost of Rs. 2355.04 lakhs only”. Since the work is being executed by the PWD so the engagement of any private company against the project may be known to the executing agency. Said Health Minister.

The work is ongoing and being carried out as per government approved DPR/estimate. The physical progress of the progress of the project upto June 22 is 40% while the financial progress upto Financial year (FY) 2021-22 the state government has release 1100 lakhs only against the total estimated cost of Rs. 2355.04 lakhs.
