Media house contributed essential commodities to inmates of Deepak Nabam Living home

ITANAGAR, DEC 26 ; Moved by the Deepak Nabam living home which is located at Senki Park, a team from ‘Arunachal Observer’ a daily newspaper publishing from Itanagar along with Arunachal News Live contributed essential commodities for the inmates. 

Initiated by a team from the organisation and its publisher cum corporator ward no – 19, Tarh Nachung, supported by Arunachal News Live (channel), the contributions were made on the occasion of Christmas celebration.

Established in 2015, the private home / destitute shelter is being run by Deepak Nabam which caters to 315 inmates including elderly, mentally ill and destitute people from across the state.

Appreciating the contributors who turn up on the day of Christmas celebration, Nabam said, “I am overwhelmed to receive commodities from media houses,”.  It was through the media houses of the state that people became acquainted with the existence of living homes.

Meanwhile, attending the celebration former councillor Taba Yal Nabam assured to donate ten numbers of beds to the living home and contributed some essential commodities on the occasion

Zilla Parishad Chairperson (ZPC) Kamle district also assured to provide assistance towards the destitute home on her own capacity.
