Media body condole the death of a staff of ‘ Arunachal Age’ who died in a road accident

NAHARLAGUN, The media body of Arunachal Pradesh has condole the demise of a staffs of Arunachal Age , an English daily who died in a tragic road accident Mithuraj Borah, junior DTP staff of ‘The Arunachal Age’, an English local daily published from Naharlagun who passed away in Narayanpur under Lakhimpur district, Assam, at around 9.30 pm on Wednesday. He was 20.

Family members informed that Late Mithuraj, along with one of his friends, was standing by the roadside after his dinner, when he was hit by a motorist, leaving him dead on the spot.

“Late Mithuraj had joined the local daily ‘ Arunachal Age’ as junior DTP operator from this month only. He showed promise and potential during his short stay with our organization. He showed keen interest to hone his skills further on designing pages. His services will be dearly missed”, a statement from The Arunachal Age read.

We convey our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and loved ones and pray to the Almighty God to give them comfort and strength to bear the irreparable loss caused to them, it added.

After conducting post mortem at Lakhimpur Civil Hospital, the family members performed the last rites of Late Mithuraj at his native village, No. 1 Notgaon in Narayanpur, later on the day.

Meanwhile, the state media bodies including the Arunachal Press Club (APC), Arunachal Pradesh Union of Working Journalists (APUWJ) and Arunachal Electronic and Digital Media Association (AEDMA) have conveyed their condolences to the bereaved family of Late Mithuraj.

“We are grieved to hear the untimely demise of Mithuraj Borah in a tragic road accident. We convey our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members. May they find strength and courage to bear the loss of their loved one”, a joint statement of the media bodies stated.
