Likha Robin, the esteemed Secretary of the Arunachal Taekwondo Association, has been appointed as the Taekwondo Federation of India (TFI) Observer for the forthcoming 25th Mizoram Official Taekwondo Championships: 2023 and 16th Mizoram Poomsae Taekwondo Championships: 2023. The event is scheduled to take place from August 23rd to 26th, 2023, at the Armed Veng Community Centre in Aizawl, Mizoram.
This appointment follows a telephonic conversation between Joseph Thansanga, Secretary of the Mizoram Amateur Taekwondo Association, and TFI officials, wherein Robin’s expertise and experience were acknowledged. His role as the TFI Observer will involve overseeing the seamless execution of the championships and ensuring adherence to TFI regulations.
Mr. Thansanga has extended a warm welcome to Robin and will be facilitating his accommodation and other logistical arrangements during his stay in Aizawl. As per TFI guidelines, Robin will receive travel allowances, daily allowances, and remuneration for his services.
The collaboration between the Mizoram Amateur Taekwondo Association and the Arunachal Taekwondo Association through the presence of Likha Robin promises to elevate the standards of these prestigious Taekwondo championships. A comprehensive report on the event’s proceedings, co-signed by Robin and the Secretary of MATA, will be documented for future reference.
