KV No.1 Itanagar Hosts Rastriya Ekta Parv 2023-24, Showcasing Unity and Cultural Diversity

Itanagar, September 2 – KV No.1 Itanagar proudly played host to the Rastriya Ekta Parv (REP) 2023-24, a celebration of India’s unity in diversity, spanning two vibrant days on September 1st and 2nd, 2023.

The festivities commenced with an electrifying opening ceremony on September 1st, featuring the participation of 82 enthusiastic students from various Kendriya Vidyalayas within the Tinsukia Region. The event’s diverse lineup included captivating cultural performances, mesmerizing instrumental music, captivating art displays, and an array of visually stunning creations.

Under the Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat Rashtriya Ekta Parv, Arunachal Pradesh was paired with Uttar Pradesh, fostering cultural exchange and the sharing of traditions. The occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of Ms. Ira Singhal (IAS), presently serving as Special Secretary, Education for the Government of Arunachal Pradesh, who served as the Chief Guest.

Ms. Singhal’s inspiring success story and her vision for the future motivated and inspired the participants, serving as a beacon of hope and determination for aspiring individuals. She encouraged students to pursue their passions, emphasizing that such pursuits could lead to a profound sense of accomplishment, whether as hobbies or lifelong pursuits.

Expressing her gratitude, Ms. Singhal thanked Mr. Arun Kumar Singh, the Principal Incharge of KV No.1 Itanagar, for providing the opportunity to interact with students, staff, and well-wishers.

An essential element of the Rashtriya Ekta Parv (REP) 2023-2024 was the presence of accomplished judges from various art domains, including Rerik Karlo Digbak, Chorun Mugli, Meenam Goi, Pranbesh Shill, and Ayan Pal.
