Issue of land allotment and its process is not banned in Capital: DC Talo Potom

ITANAGAR, AUGUST 29 : The issue of land allotment and process for land allotment is not banned in Itanagar Capital complex Deputy Commissioner office, rather those applicants who has been applying for land allotment should ensure that the application is enclosed with all the required documents including the NOC form various department. Said DC Talo Potom.

Potom was speaking to media at DC Office on Monday afternoon. He said it is just mere an excuse and the applicants those who did not fulfill their application with the required documents including the NOC from Disaster management department and forest department may have been alleging that the process of land allotment is banned but there is no such banned order. Rather there are no any application lying pending on his table except the few incomplete applications. Claimed DC Potom.

It is almost one and half year of his my joining and there is no banned on land allotment. On my joining as DC capital it was felt necessary after lost of several life and property due to disaster and due to which there was a need of NOC form disaster management and process was delayed. Another file went to the state government for including of new checklist. He said.

Reacting sharply on the allegation, DC Potom said today only he has disbursed a land allotment passbook to one Rani Jomoh who applied recently with all necessary documents and after the approval her passbook was given away to her. He said.

With regards to land allotment/LPC to 74 government schools of capital complex, DC said that due to absence of boundary fencing at many schools and I have spoken with state government for providing provisional allotment and proposal has been send to government and due to which it has been delayed. He said.  

The Chimpu located in other department and Papuhill police station is in rented apartment land is also finalized and would be allotted soon. He said.

I have been informed by my officers that hardly file are pending with them and if pending it may be lying with the directorate land management. More than four hundred cases has been forwarded to the government and it is upto the government to consider or not after through verification.  He said
