ITANAGAR, MAY 27 ; One day workshop titled‘ Stress and Health with Lifestyle Management’ was conducted by Hydro Power Development Corporation of Arunachal Pradesh Limited, Itanagar. The workshop took place on 27th May 2023, at Dorji Khandu Conventional Hall, Itanagar.The event was inaugurated by Er. Toko Onuj, Chairman cum Managing Director, with the presence Er. R.K. Chaudhary, Designated Director Technical, NHPC as a special guest.
Dr. Vishal Gaur was the speaker for the workshop. He is Trade Commissioner, ASEAN; President of Sampoorn Health (NGO); Founder – Sunshine Wellness, Director (Health), Asian Arab Chamber of Commerce; Honorary Consultant, Max Hospital; Visiting Faculty – Government, Ministries, PSUs and MNCs.
The workshop aimed to raise awareness about the growing health disorders caused by modern practices, such as Diabetes, Hypertension, Stress, Obesity, Joint Pains, etc. It emphasized the importance of understanding essential medical facts and implementing research-based preventive health practices. Participants were provided with preventive techniques and knowledge to enhance productivity and better job performance.
Primarily, the workshop was conducted on causes, treatment, prevention of diabetes mellitus, hypertension and joint pains. Dr. Vishal Gaur discussed with the members attended about the state of complete physical, mental and social wellbeing and not merely the absence of disease of illness and he also discussed the optimal state of health of individuals and groups and wellness is expressed as a positive approach to living.
The workshop also attended by Er. Rajiv Kumar, General Manager, NHPC; Engineers from M/s Growever Infra Pvt., New Delhi; officials from HPDCAPL – Er. Sureshwar Poddar, Chief Consultant, Er. Takar Batak, Deputy Manager and many others.
Around 100 participants have attended the workshop.
