Hockey Arunachal’s 2nd Election Results: Gumjum Haider Re-elected President Unopposed

In a unanimous decision, Gumjum Haider, the State Information Commissioner of Arunachal Pradesh, has been re-elected as the President of Hockey Arunachal for another four-year term.

The election, overseen by Former Sessions Judge and former SIC Goto Ete, saw Adv. Sonam Tenzing and Hillang Nima being appointed as Secretary and Treasurer of Hockey Arunachal, respectively. Tapan Kumar Das, a member of the Hockey India board, observed the election process as the National Observer, while Boni Liruk, representing the Director of the Sports Authority of Arunachal, was present as the State Observer on behalf of the Government of Arunachal Pradesh.

Additionally, the election saw Pinge Doji elected unopposed as the Senior Vice President, and Ms. Gona Niji, Ms. Techi Depung, Thomas Dakpe, and Ajay Matem elected as Vice Presidents. The role of Joint Secretaries was filled by Issaac Nabum, Ms. Api Pale, and Ms. Tallo Api, who were also elected unopposed. The executive role will be taken up by Likha Tebin.
