Gao urged Tanga tribes leaders to guide the younger generation for protection and preservation of aged old tradition and rich cultural heritage. 

ITANAGAR, Apr 30: Youth of the respective Community leaders have to take responsibility for protection and preservation of their own rich traditional value and cultural heritage said Arunachal East  Member of Parliament Tapir Gao here on Saturday while attending as chief guest on the occasion of Moh Mol festival celebration at TCL ground Senki Park, Itanagar amid huge gathering.

The Tangsa tribe and its sub-tribe residing at Itanagar Capital region  celebrated their agricultural related festival Moh-Mol with tradition fervor cultural manner, organized by Moh Mol Celebration Committee, Itanagar 

Several cultural troops and a team of youths and students from RGU, DNGC and others shows their performances which include traditional dance, songs and traditional Fashion show, mega dances were presented in the festival celebration which mesmerizes the audiences .

On the occasion MP advised the youths of Tangsa Community that they should take responsibility to preserve and protect the traditions and cultures of Tangsas tribe and its dozens of sub-tribe so that the Community’s identity can remain alive. It is no matter your believing in which religious but protection of own tradition, originality and culture is own responsibility because peoples from other community will not came to protect your tradition, culture and festive he added. 

The Moh Mol festival celebration was started 57 years back as informed but this year Moh- Mol festival celebration is the real Moh Mol festival because in this year Tangsa is being constitutionally got recognized as a tribe including many other tribes of state.  He said.

Highlighting about the Tangsa Community Gao said that Tangsa tribe is one of the best peace loving community of state, because there are more than 22 sub tribe in Tangsa tribe  who’s dialect is deferent to each other but they living peacefully in Changlang district. There are no reports of communal fights or any such criminal activities from the Community.  

While expressing concern on the less turnout and less participation in APPSCCE and SSB and other comparative examination from Changlang District, Gao Advice the Tangsa Community’s seniors and Youths should take responsibility for improving of their community in competitive examination.He also advice that community youth, seniors should also suggest the young generation about avoid uses of drugs and take their Covid 19 vaccine two dose and booster.   

Attending as guest of honour Capital MLA Techi Kaso, advice that the everyone should come forwards for social works for the welfare of society and works for the protection of their own tradition and culture and in this world everyone should try to live their life peacefully. 

Kaso assured his full support to all tribes in capital complex and appeal all section of society to maintain communal harmony, brotherhood for peace, progress and development of capital complex. 

The MLA Zingnu Namchoom, MLA Chakat Aboh, former Minister Dr. Mohesh Chai, several senior officers and community leaders and local leaders among others were also present and take part in the celebration.
