NAHARLAGUN, JUNE 9 : A fire at Premnagar of Naharlagun area late night has devoured a rented apartment and a shop and gutted all the household belongings and other items.
Naharlagun Fire station, Fire Officer Tayer Tare informed that a fire call was received from Prem Nager area and the team of firefighters rushed to the spot and douse the fire from spreading into the locality. It was the incident of late night at around 11.30 PM opposite of TRIHMS wherein the fire had devoured a rented apartment of an RCC building of one Taba Laji. The commercial apartment grocery shop of Nabam Tange and the fire involved a cosmetic shop and all the belongings of the rented apartment and the cosmetic shop were gutted. He said.
No one was reportedly injured but the property has been completely damaged in the incident. The cause of the fire is reported to be a short circuit. Tare added.
