ITANAGAR, OCT 31 : On the eve of 50th APP Raising day 2022 games and sporting competition was kickoff by DGP AP Satish Golchcha and address the inaugural ceremony as Chief guest.
DGP, emphasis and ensured to improve APP Raising day competition in coming years. He also assured to provide all kind of required facilities to police sports personnel who represent APP in sporting platform. Further, next year competition for lady police will also be included. Said DGP.
This mega event is being organised by APP sports control board under the aegis of PHQ Itanagar.
Earlier this event had been divided into 8 zones and after competiting in each zone only winners of respective zone arrives for championship round which was inaugurated today.
The events are Football, Volleyball, badminton, Athletics and Firing is included.
During opening match 2nd IRBn Diyun beat 2nd AAPBn Aalo in penalty shootout after 2-2 in normal and extra time. Ct.Roni Ramching of 2nd IRBn team was adjudged as Hero of the match for excellent game display and scoring 3 goals for team
The final match will be played on 7th Nov.
IGPs Chuku Apa, IGP Apur Bitin IGP Take Ringu, IGP Michi Paku and Capital based SP’s and Dy SPs attended the inaugural ceremony. .
