DCM MEIN FLAGS OFF VIKSIT BHARAT SANKALP YATRA AT PALI VIDYAPEETH, CHONGKHAM, LAUNCHES SEVA AAP KE DWAR 2.0 

Chonghkam, 3rd December, ’23: DCM Chowna Mein inaugurated the Seva Aap Ke Dwar 2.0 and flagged off the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra from Pali Vidyapeeth, Chongkham in Namsai District today.

The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is a noble initiative aimed at achieving 100% saturation of flagship government programs. The campaign seeks to combine awareness, recognition, and the direct provision of essential services to contribute to the holistic development of the region. The event took place amidst an enthusiastic atmosphere, signifying a commitment to positively impact the lives of the people in Namsai District.

Expressing his satisfaction with the ongoing Seva Aap Ke Dwar campaign, DCM Mein stated that it has seamlessly aligned with the Viksit Bharat Yatra, creating a robust framework for the dissemination of government schemes and benefits. He underscored the significance of empowering rural women in the agricultural sector through Self Help Groups (SHGs), training in modern farming methods, and the use of technology such as tractors for ploughing. He urged that by December 2024, traditional ploughing system should be replaced with farm machineries in the district.

Highlighting PM Modi’s vision of ‘Vikas’, DCM Mein commended government officials for their commitment to trust and corruption-free practices. He also shared the optimism about the nation’s trajectory to becoming the third-largest economy and urged officials to ensure the benefits of government schemes reach even the remotest villages.

As the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra embarks on its journey, the commitment of the government to inclusive development and welfare for all remains unwavering.

During the program, DCM Mein explored exhibition stalls put up by various government departments, engaging with the diverse range of initiatives in place. The event showcased the government’s dedication to recognizing and rewarding individuals under schemes such as Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Atmanirbhar Bawani Yojna, PMAWAS Yojana, and more. DCM Mein also felicitated progressive farmers, Anganwadi Workers, SHGs under ArSLM acknowledging their contributions to the community.

The highlight of the day was the distribution of Ujjawal connections and tractors (ANKY/Anby), complemented by drone demonstrations and disbursement of fund for SHGs under ArSLM. On-the-spot services, including health camps and registration kiosks for schemes such as PMJAY, PM Viswakarma, PMJJBY, PMSBY, PM Bharat volunteers, and PM Ujjwala, were also provided.

On the occasion, DCM Mein also released informative leaflets prepared by KVK, Momong for the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra for public awareness. The Certificate of saturation for JJM (Jal Jeevan Mission) and the declaration of ODF+ (Open Defecation Free Plus) Village/Gram Panchayats issued by Ministry of Water Supply, GoI were also distributed.

Mein along with other dignitaries and the people present at the programme also took the ‘Hamara Sankalp Viksit Bharat’ pledge, which constitutes making India developed and self-reliant by 2047; removing any trace of colonial mindset; celebrating our heritage; strengthening unity and respecting those who protect the nation; and performing the duties of a citizen.

In the event was also present, MLA Namsai, Chau Zingnu Namchoom, Secretary (Planning & Investment) and State Nodal Officer for Vikshit Bharat, R K Sharma, DC Namsai, C R Khampa, ADC & ZPM Chongkham, among others.
