Dakpe discussed boundary issue with local of Dollungmukh area, appeal to maintain peace and tranquility and brotherhood

ITANAGAR, JULY 4 : The Raga MLA Tarin Dakpe alongwith Kamle Deputy Commissioner Adong Pertin and SP Taru Gusar on Tuesday has visited Dollungkukh area and discussed about the Arunachal-Assam boundary issue and other developmental issue of the area.

Addressing the locals of Dollungmukh area at a public meeting here at Boori Boot ground, MLA Dakpe said that the boundary dispute between Kamle district and North Lakhimpur district has been amicably discussed on the initiative of union Home Minister Amit Shah between the various local boundary committee of both side. The initiative was led by both the chief minister of Arunachal Pradesh and Assam  He said.

Dakpe appeal the people to maintain peace and tranquility and maintain good relationship with neighbor and communal harmony with counterpart as has been maintained since long. He said.

Later, Dakpe and his team visited and inspected several undergoing projects in the area, interacted locals and officers and officials and workers of executing agency.

Dakpe also inspected the under construction 2000 MW Subansiri lower power project and interacted the officers and official of NHPC. He discussed various issue and update of the project with General manager, Executive direction. The work progress was informed by the NHPC officer and informed that the project would be completed by December 2023. Added MLA Dakpe.

Several HoDs of the area, public leaders, Pri Leaders, social workers and locals among others were present on the occasion.
