Cultural exchange programme of Ladakh and Arunachal showcase unity, integrity and communal harmony at Oju welfare mission school

A cultural exchange programme between students from Ladakh and Arunachal Pradesh was held at Oju Mission School to showcase their rich cultural and ethnicity in form of song and dances here on Wednesday evening.  

The programme was held as a part of celebration of foundation day of Ladakh as they got Union Territory status on 31 October 2019, which brought an era of development and prosperity for the citizens of Ladakh.

Leading the team from Ladakh, Tsering Dolkar informed that as a youth’s ambassador of Ladakh, incumbent Governor B D Mishra has initiated a programme with dedication and commitment as part of celebration across the country.

Expressing her ecstasy to be among the students of OMS on the occasion, Dolkar appreciated chairperson of Oju Welfare Association (OWA) Ratan Anya for her good work by running an orphanage which caters to many children from across the state.

Mediaperson Mnaoj Singh who was special guest on the occasion has informed that such a cultural exchange programme will enhance the unity integrity, communal harmony and brotherhood and will promote patriotism and nationalism.
