CM Khandu dedicated bypass road of Papu nallah, arch bride near Sood and composite bridge at Borum connecting Railway station

ITANAGAR, Feb 02: The Chief minister Pema Khandu in presence of MLA Techi Kaso, Advisor to PWD minister Phurpa Tsering and Commissioner PWD Kaling Tayeng inaugurated Bypass Road from Pappu-Nallah bridge point to Sood.arch bridge connecting Naharlagun with Borum, composited bridge and road connecting Lekhi with Railway station on Friday morning amounting to Rs. 70 crore projects.. 

Dedicating the bridge for the citizens of the capital complex, CM said that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the state is committed to improve the infrastructure of the state.

Mentioning that a double lane steel arch bridge at Borum and Composite bridge over Pachin river to connect railway station were also the pilot project of the state government to ease the suffering of commuters, he said, bridges would definitely lessen the traffic congestion in the capital complex and will give a comfortable ride and save time and energy as well vehicle fuel. .

In total seven bridges are at the verge of completion out of which two have already been inaugurated today which is a sign of development & progress, several such developmental projects will be initiated for the welfare of the people. he added. 

“Communication is the priority of the state government,” said Khandu.

Speaking on the connectivity of Naharlagun railway and Airport, CM informed that around 30 km of double lane highway’s tendering process has already been completed and shortly construction works would be started at the cost of more than Rs. 300 crore. 

Further, he also informed that the state government is planning to make a ropeway in Itanagar, which will again divert commuters from traffic congestion.

Referring to Papunallah Donyi-Polo incomplete road, The Chief Minister Pema Khandu said that some fund has alredy been sanction and the remaining fund may be approved and necessary direction has been issued instantly to the commissioner to initiate the process so that the Papunallah-Donyi-Polo vidya bhawan-Itanagar road is completed soon. He added.

The Itanagar MLA Techi Kaso who address the gathering highlighted several major achievement under the leadership of Chief Minister Pema Khandu and look forward for of the general public so as to given more energy and strength to work more for more development in the entire capital complex. 

Kaso said that a proposal is there to connect Chimpu-Pachin-Nirjuli and in next term the said proposal will be taken up. Major sector roads has been converted into CC Pavement and all the remaining five bridge are at the verge of completion and would be dedicated to the general public. He said.

He ask the commuters to use the three project inaugurated today so that the time is saved and commuters does have to waste precious time in traffic congesant.
