ITANAGAR, SEPTEMBER 11 : The Itanagar Capital Police on Sunday has appeal the party goers to maintain timing while going to the Beer Bar, night club and others place of recreation including the pub etc even in late night.
Capital SP Jimmy Chiram inform that the capital police is not against anyone who went to night club and Beer Bar and such places but there is a rule of law and timing has been fixed by the administration from time to time. The timing has to be maintained strictly and it would be better if the Beer Bar owners maintain the timing prescribed by the capital administration or else action may be initiated who do not follow the order. Said SP Chiram.
All the police station of capital complex has been directed to maintain vigilance and strictly maintain the timing of all the Beer Bar and night club in their respective area. Several magistrate of capital complex administration has been deployed are also inspecting such night clubs and Beer Bar and legal action may be initiated if found violating the order of the government and administration. Said SP adding that the police will continue patrolling and maintain vigil in all vulnerable area of capital complex but the general public need to maintain peace and tranquility and obey all rule of law as a law abiding citizen.
As per modified order issued by Capital Deputy Commissioner Talo Potom on June 24 the closing time of RL-1, RL-2 Beer, IMFL Beer Bars has been fixed from 11 PM to 12 AM (2300 hours to 2400 hours) and all the licenced Bars should shutter down down their shops at 11 PM without fail.
The order issued by Capital DC on June 24 said that ‘ anyone found violating the instruction shall be liable for penal action as well as proceeding under the provisions of Excise Act 1993’.
