BJP get a major boost in Longding district, Over 1000 joined saffron party at Nginu led by Chief of Nginu

LONGDING, Aug 04:In a major boost to the State’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), over 1000 people from various villages and party under the 60th Pongchau-Wakka assembly constituency on Friday joined the party during a mass joining program here at Nginu village under Longchan circle in Longding district in presence of Longding district BJP presidents and Mandal President respectively 

The mass joining program was led by chief of the Nginu village Longwang Wangham who has contested the previous assembly election from PPA including voters from Longkai, Ngissa, Chitum and Kaimoi villages in presence of BJP office district and Mandal executive bearers, ZPC,ZPMs and karyakartas to strengthen the party in the district and a massive support to present MLA and Minister RWD, Science and Technology Honchun Ngandam.

Speaking at the event, President BJP district unit Pankhu Wangsu congratulated the new BJP members and welcomed them to the party, who were previously affiliated with Indian National Congress (INC), People’e Party of Arunachal (PPA) and Independent etc.

Highlighting, the various developmental initiatives such as creation of Circle Office including staff, road connectivity, potable water and upgradation of schools by the BJP government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the centre and Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Minister Honchun Ngandam in the state and district, he appealed people to join hands with the party in its efforts to build a new Pangchau – Wakka assembly constituency in particular and state as a whole. 

“With the mass joining of people, it can be observed that the public has faith in the BJP government for bringing every centrally and state sponsored scheme at grassroots level, for welfareofpeopleanddevelopment of areaamd state.” Said Wangsu. 

Appealing to the entire workers irrespective of any party of the district not to play politics in the name of religion, he expressed the party’s optimism to win three constituencies seat of Longding district in the up-coming general election 2024.

Speaking on the occasion on behalf of Minister RWD Honchun Ngangdam BJP district vice president Honwang wangsuham who is also a youth leader, advised party workers to remain united for the change of face in terms of developmental activities.

Informing, the minister could not attend the mass joining programme as he was prescribed on official business meeting at the Civil secretariat office, he said, “Whosoever, today become the members of BJP must share love & respect to each other,” Said Wangpan, while urging all the workers to maintain the ideology of BJP for the larger interest of district. 

He also affirmed that under the able leadership of present MLAs of the district and guidance of PM & CM, the people of the state would avail benefit from the present ruling governance in the days to come.

Appealing youths of the district to avoid consuming unwanted substances such as drugs, alcohol and cigarettes etc, he advised the students to concentrate on the studies and academic activities for their bright future.
