ITANAGAR, APRIL 14: The Arunachal Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today celebrated the 130th birth anniversary of BR Ambedkar at its headquarter at H Sector today morning.
Addressing the gathering, state BJP President and Pakkekessang MLA Biyuram Wahge inform that BR Ambedkar is also known as Babasaheb Ambedkar. He was a social reformer and has launched several movements against untouchables and has been vocal for the rights for the dalits and downtrodden.
His works are an inspiration for today ‘s youths and he will always be remembered for his social services for the downtrodden and backward class and most deserving section society. Wahge said.
He said today is a special day and we all the senior party leaders have gathered and shared the information being undertaken by the Babasaheb for the welfare of the backward class and dalits and also his message toward humanity. We pray for world peace and development.
Wahge further appealed to the party cadres to prepare themselves to fight the second wave of the Coronavirus infection spreading across the country. He urges the workers to sensitize their respective members of family, realties, friends and neighbours to maintain Covid protocol and vaccinate Covid vaccine for those who are above 45 years in respective PHC/CHC and other places.
Former Minister Karya Bagang, party senior leader Techi Nicha, Taiek Goi, Nelong Mize, Mohila President Higio Aruni, Yuva president Ram Tajo and BJP Vice President Nani Lazi, S among others were present.
The dignitaries also took part in a lamp lighting ceremony and paid floral tribute to the social reformer for a strong, peaceful and developed Arunachal Pradesh.
