Badminton club to be launched and a badminton court to be dedicate to public to remember Late Taba Tahi

ITANAGAR,  A badminton club namely Taba Tahi badminton club to be launched and badminton court to be dedicated for public service to remember Late Taba Tahi a social workers and social reformer who passed away recently. 

Late Tahi was a great social workers who has worked hard for establishment of National Institute of Technology (NIT), Film & Television institute (FTI), Government Law College and other important infrastructure in Sangdupota circle which is attached to the Capital complex and the area is in fast track development.

The family sources informed, that a badminton club has been constituted and a badminton court will be dedicated on January 5th at Depra village in presence of host of dignitaries which include NIT Director Pinakeshwar Mahanta as chief guest while NIT Registrar Dr. Uday Kumar Khanikar will be guest of honour. More than eight badminton club of the area and district is expected to take part matches.  

Government officers, public leaders, PRI leaders and well-wishers, family members and relatives are expected to attend the function. The sources said.
