ITANAGAR, May 16: One Arunachalee girl reportedly died on spot in a tragic road accident on National highway at Pohumara in North Lakhimpur, Assam this evening.
The Papum Pare Police sources informed that one Arunachalee girl riding a two wheeler (Honda Scooty) bearing registration No- AR 01 N 2555 meet with an accident and died on spot. The accident happened due to a Tanker hit the scooty from backside while the decrease was traveling from Itanagar to Kimin on the ill fatted two wheeler. As per information the accident takes place at around 4 PM. The sources said.
The Tanker driver has been reportedly surrendered to the nearby outpost which is yet to confirmed. The sources said.
The body has been kept at Lakhimpur medical college and legal formalities would be done on Wednesday and the body will be handed over the family members. The sources added.
