Artistic brilliance blossoms at Kendriya Vidyalaya no. 2, Itanagar’s ‘painting competition’ on Parakram Diwas

On the commemoration of Parakram Diwas, Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2, Itanagar, illuminated its surroundings with a vibrant ‘Painting Competition’ on January 23, 2024, as part of the ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC)’ initiative. The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by esteemed judges: Mr. Pallav Saikia, Mrs. Kavyashree Nath, Mr. Ayan Pal, and Mr. Vinay Kumar (Principal, KV No. 2, Itanagar).

The celebration unfolded with a melodious welcome song performed by students, setting the stage for the Principal, Mr. Vinay Kumar, to extend a warm welcome to participating schools and introduce the theme of the painting competition.

A hundred students from diverse schools poured their artistic expressions onto canvases, inspired by the theme of ‘Exam Warriors,’ a book authored by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The competition concluded with the recognition of five outstanding students, who were honored with certificates and books highlighting the profound contributions of national freedom fighters.

The event’s triumph owed much to the dedicated efforts of all school teachers, and the seamless coordination was orchestrated by Mr. Neeraj Kumar and Mr. Mehboob Ahmed. Abhishek Adhikari graciously delivered a vote of thanks, expressing profound gratitude to all participants and contributors for weaving together the success of this artistic celebration.
