Ar SLM organised  counseling programme to empower rural youths to be skilled and achieve success

ITANAGAR, NOV 4 : With an aim to motivate and encourage ongoing trainees training under Deen Dayal Upadhyaya-Grameen Kaushalya Yojana(DDU-GKY), Arunachal State Rural Livelihoods Mission(ArSRLM) on Saturday has conducted a “Mass Counselling Session of the Ongoing trainees under DDU-GKY’’programme with the theme ‘’to empower rural youths to be skilled and achieve success’’. The programme was held at The Ornate Luxury Boutique Hotel, Guwahati,Assam.

The programme was chaired by Chief Operating Officer, COO skills, Ar SRLMShri. Ruzing Bellai. He requested and appealed to the trainees to gain working experience at their job and encouraged them to focus on developing their knowledge and skills.

The programme was attended by DDU-GKY trainees undergoing training at Guwahati Training Centres and representatives from Project Implementing Agencies, Nurture Employ ability Development Society(NEEDS), Iswarchandra Vidyasagar National Youth Council (IVNYC), SRK people Consultants (I) Pvt.Ltd, Prakhar Software Solutions.

The Programme was also attended by resource persons from CTSA,(NABCONS) Dhiraj Sonowal (Business Development Manager) & Smt. Roshni Upadhyaya (Associate Project Consultant) and resource person from TSA, (Ernst & Young) Jadumoni Bharali Baruah (Manager-QM&E), who counselled the trainees on developing their skills, career growth & retention.

With its ambitious initiative of placing DDU-GKY candidates in foreign countries, ArSRLMinvited Alpha Manpower Pvt.Ltd, a job aggregator company for the programme. The company was represented by Md.Ishadul Islam, Business Development Manager(NE Region) and his team. Md.Ishadul interacted with the trainees and briefed the forum about the company and facilities offered by their company. The company is envisaged to sign Non-Financial MoU with ArSRLM and provide placement to DDU-GKY trainees in foreign countries.

The overall co-ordination of the programme was done by Nabam Ompi, Programme Manager(PMCPIA) DDUGKY, ArSRLM who brief the purpose and importance of the programme and benefits from such programme to the beneficiaries. Programme Manager (SP) Tatar Mosi motivated the trainees with his encouraging words. NEEDS Project Manager Manoj Singh also address the occasion with his experience and suggestion.
