APPSC AE Civil aspirants demined CBI enquiry into the examination paper leakage case.

ITANAGAR, Sep 22 : The aggrieved aspirants of Assistant Engineer (Civil) demanded high level enquiry including the Central Bureau Investigation (CBI) prove into the alleged question paper leakage case, alleging APPSC has a black spot being the highest recruitment institution of the state.

Addressing a press conference at APC, the APPSC AE (Civil) question Paper Leakage Issue Committee (PLIC) chairman Techi Puru said, commissions’ board member during previous press briefing quoted many things involved in alleged question paper leakage of AE (Civil) examinations but they does not have concrete answers to the questions raised by the candidates.

The committee members remarks came after the board members Jarken Gamlin and Mepung Tader Wahge briefed the media fraternity about the arrest of five accused including the Arunachal Pradesh public service commission (APPSC) deputy secretary  Taket Jerang and his associates by capital police.

Denouncing the two groups of ‘Internal Audit Committee’ constituted by the commission to investigate into the paper leakage fiasco, Techi said, forming a committee to look into the issue is nothing but just an eye wash tactic being followed by the commission since immemorial time.

“Admit card for the examinations was duly signed by chairman and secretary, and then what is the need of commission members to address the public on behalf of duo,” questioned Techi.  The commission member Jarken Gamlin must come and tell the public who were the unscrupulous fraudsters who approach the candidates posing themselves to be a part of commission and offer cash in exchange of selection in the examinations, he added.

Stating the matter has become not only of APPSC but also a social issues against the corrupt practices, malpractices and lapse in conduction of examination by the commission timely, PLIC demand the Commission to come in public domain and disclose the Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs) maintained by the APPSC to conduct the examinations.

We as aggrieved aspirants did not have that confidence upon the commission, they also appealed to the Governor and chief minister to intervene into the issue by writing to the president of India for complete re-shuffle of members of commission with  competent officers.

Saying the high rank officer like Dy secretary Jerang would not have done to that level and the PLIC further demands for immediate suspension of chairman and secretary, commission members and to investigate into them, so that the entire commission become free of any allegation of corruption and mismanagement and malpractice and culprit involved in the corruption as per the prevailing laws.
