Alo Libang appealed to get vaccinated for both doses of Covid 19

LINIA, Minister Health & Family Welfare Alo LIbang on Thursday has appealed to all sections of society to get vaccinated for Covid 19 vaccine as a safety measure from covid 19.

Libang was addressing a public function on the occasion of laying the foundation stone of a model residential school here at Upper Yachuli area of Lower Subansiri district. LIbang said that we have suffered a lot due to Covid 19 pandemic globally and the economic condition has suffered a lot globally. Due to active management of the state government and full support of the general masses we have been able to manage a huge infrastructure across the state and we have been able to upgraded and update the health infrastructure and the health sector has increased a lot and it has been updated to many fold. We have to increase the manpower and we are working on it. He said.

The Covid vaccination awareness is being given to all sections of society so that maximum numbers of people get the benefit but few districts of state are very low vaccinated and it has to be intensified in all parts of state and stakeholders need to be part of the campaign as a safety measure. He said.

The awareness drive has also to be given at all religious institutions so that everyone takes part and gets both doses of vaccination. He said.

Around 280 people have lost their life due to Covid 19 infection since pandemic but those who died are mostly due to chronic disease and other ailments so taking of covid 19 vaccine will help from severity. He said

We should not open PHC/CHC abruptly but for opening for new PHC/CHE few guidelines need to be taken up like rate of patient, population of area, disease infection in the area, birth rate, death rate etc and we have to strengthened the existing needy PHC/CHC circle wise, constituency wise etc. he said. 

The Health Minister requested the GBs, religious leaders to create awareness on the benefit of Covid vaccine to the masses so that maximum numbers of people are vaccinated both doses of Covid 19 vaccine.
