AAC to chalk out further course of action after August 19

ITANAGAR, AUGUST 17 : Arunachal Against Corruption (AAC) is on sit on dharna/protest at the IG Park, D Sector in the state capital Itanagar for more than twenty days has accusing the Chief Minister Pema Khandu of involving in corrupt practice and demanding his resignation and high level enquiry by central agency involving CBI.

AAC leaders inform the media that time and again we have been observing that the present chief minister Pema Khandu is being accused and alleged for allegedly being involved in multi crore scams in various departments. various organizations of state have demanded his resignation and high level enquiry.  The main motto of our organisation is against corruption and we as youths leaders also have the responsibility to highlight the mismanagement and corrupt practices in various departments of state. Though we physically did not meet him or discuss the issue, we submitted a memorandum to various departments and in July we submitted a memorandum in this regard to the governor. AAC said.

There have been allegations of corruption and corrupt practice prevalent in various departments and it is necessary that all those officers and officials who are involved and responsible should be booked as per law and they need to be punished. A high level investigation is needed but several corruption and corrupt practices are either never been resolved or the corrupt officers and officials have not been punished. So it is better that the state government should, without any delay, recommend a CBI investigation. AAC said.

Our organization has been formed in 2021 to fight against corruption and we shall continue to fight corruption and corrupt practice at various levels and we are on dharna from July 23rd to August 19 to draw the attention of the general public.

Six points have been put forward for resolution which include inquiry needed of SGSRY,  power, panchayati raj, geology and mining, CAMPA and hydropower department etc by the central agency.

We may chalk out our further course of democratic movement after August 19. The AAC leaders stated.
