PALIN, NOV 5 : The Palin-Chambang MLA Balo Raja on Saturday inaugurated the 32nd branch of Arunachal Pradesh Rural Bank (APRB) here at Palin in Kra Daadi district in presence of several eminient personality and HoDs of district and public leaders.
With this inauguration of Palin branch the APRB has 32 nos of branches functioning smoothly across the state and catering to the needs of banking services of the locals including the farmers and rural people and customers of Arunachal Pradesh.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony, MLA Raja said that only one SBI branch located at Palin is overcrowded and huge rush were observed and with this the customers and locals who have financial transaction and banking facilities would be available. The people lcan avail the facilities of banking freely. The APRB would be functioning with all the facilities but ay take some time to establish smoothly and the local administration would provided necessary support for smooth function in the district heaquarter. He said.
There are several central and state sponsored schemes for the welfare of the general public and due to only one branch the customers and students and rural beneficiaries could not avail due to huge rush on daily basis. The students who get scholarship and other benefits of the government can also able avail the benefit after opening of account.
The district administration would explore and I will also cooperate and support for establishment of more bank branches of other banking organization Kra Daadi district. The network system is also gradually improving and with this the internet system and other facility in back would also be made available and I have requested ht banking authority to improve the facilities including the ATM and other facility for the customers.
Kra Daadi DC Higio Tala congratulated the APRB for opening of bank branch at Palin. He inform that there was a great rush at SBI Palin and to simplify the rush at SBI we have deputed two staffs one for education and another for Other schemes and could not complete the huge work. With the opening of the new bank branch it would cater to the need of the people and reduce the rush and can meet up the needs of opening of accounts of bank at Palin. He requested the staffs not to show any attitude and work with a commitment to serve the masses. DC said.

NABARD General Manager Partho Saha speaks on self help group and establishment of rural mart for the benefit of the women’s engaged in SHG for rural. Economy and activities including vegetables, agriculture and non farm products. He assured to provide rural mart, rural hat upto Rs. 15 lakhs.
APRB Chairman Dr. Deepak Kumar Gupta said that the APRB is growing and expanding its horizon in the rural areas of state specially to the needy places in state. We are trying our best effort to cater to the needs of the customers and due to which the Palin branch has been inaugurated.
This is the 2nd bank in Palin town and APRB is doing well and improving its business. We will ways look forward to smooth functioning. We have given purchase order for ATM and would be established soon. A pass book printing machine will be available in the branch. The APRB is planning to establish around dozens of ATMs in various parts of state. Almost all the facilities will be available for its customers. He said.
The APRB is also doing with SHG and 80% of loans of SHG are being disbursed. We have very less accounts with NPA. He added..
