23 ILP violators pushed back to Assam

Itanagar, August 5: Continuous Iner Line Permit (ILP) checking drives are being carried out by District Administration Capital Itanagar at various locations of Capital.

In a drive carried out yesterday, DACO cum Special Magistrate Tem Kaya along with Police caught 7 persons without ILP from Prem Nagar and Helipad areas of Naharlagun and those who failed to provide ILPs were externed to Assam through Police Check Gate, Banderdewa.

In an another drive conducted today by TIO cum Special Magistrate Dalin Tana, 23 ILP violators were apprehended from Helipad and nearby lower model village areas. After verification, those who failed to provide ILPs , were externed to Assam through Police Check Gate, Banderdewa.

Tana further informed that amongst the defaulters, 5 labourers were caught working under Tourist Inner line permits. Those defaulters were remanded in Nlg PS first and later dropped off at Banderdewa check gate.
