16 member delegates from Bhutan arrived state capital to attend various programme of youth and cultural exchange in state

HOLLONGI, NOV 3 : A 16 members delegation from Bhutan on expedition on several vehicle under the aegis of  Indo-Bhutan Friendship Car Rally association (IFCRA) has arrived at state to attend various programme on youth and cultural exchange.

IFCRA Chairman Pem Sonam inform the media that the friendship rally is organized every year but due to Covid pandemic we could not organize for last two years.

It is to showcase the rich potentials of India particularly the northeast region and attract investment, trade & tourism and to promote people to people contact by rediscovering the expedition for mapping connectivity, promotion of tourism, cultural, trade & investment, linguistic affinities between INDIA-BHUTAN. The International Friendship Car Rally Association, IFCRA is happy to make an official announcement of the flag off and flag down. He said.

The event is supported by the Department of Youth Affairs, Government of Arunachal Pradesh to foster the Friendship relation the context of India’s Act East Policy. Sonam said.

The rally is a self-drive expedition event with private and official participants from India is scheduled to Flag off on 8th November 2022 from PakkeKessang and we will have several porgramme of youth and cultural exchange and tourism programme discussion among the youths of both country. The Flag down on 15th November 2022 at Phuntsoling, Bhutan. He said.

Some delegation from Nagaland, Manipur, Assam and other NE states are also arriving to join the programme at Itanagar and Pakkekessang. He said. 

Cultural programmes besides business meet with networking dinner is on the chart at PakkeKessang, Phuntsolin, Thimpu and Phunakha, Bhutan in presence of local authorities. We firmly believe that this friendship car rally will highlight the age-old trade route connecting both country which in the current scenario have acquired great significance in context of overland movement of people and goods between India and Bhutan nations also highlights the importance of India’s Act East Policy. It is mentionable that IFCRA has already successful organised 7 friendship car rallies in past time in the year 2016 & 2022. added Sonam.

He further appeal the interested entrepreneurs, businessman, adventure lovers and the media organisations to join this historical event in the course of promoting friendship with the emerging eastern neighbours.
