ITANAGAR, JUNE 28 ; 1 inmate received minor injury while five remain unhurt at Deepak Nabam Living home near Senki park when a landslide triggered by heavy downpour on Tuesday morning.
Deepak Nabam inform the media that the landslide happened at around 9.30 morning when 6 inmates were taking rest in a OBT barrack near the gate. Five inmates were evacuated while one sustained minor injury. He said.
The OBT barrack has been completely damaged while property of all the six inmates had been completely damaged. He said.
Another barrack at backside which always affected by the landslide in which more than inmates has been shifted to church campus on temporary basis. He said.
The Chief Minister Pema Khandu has allocated a land near Sopo and urge upon the CM to earmarked and carryout necessary works so that temporary shifting or segregation can be done in phase manners.
