Young promising karatakas Songio Jomin Rughu passed away

ITANAGAR, JUNE 13 : Young promising karataka Songio Jomin Rughu Passed away, The last rite to be performed on Wednesday. Condolence from various sector society is poured in.

Senior most Karatakas of state Likha Tara and Tai Kipik has  condole the untimely demise of young and promising player of state who was actively associated with Karate discipline. In a condolence message the Arunachal Karatee do association President Likha Tara and secretary general Tai Hipik said that “ she was a hardworking and discipline karate player of our state. The AKA extend deepest condolence to the bereaved family members during the time of mourning. The AKA leaders added.

Songio Jomin a sincere and hardworking athletic of Sports authority of India, training centre Naharlagun belongs from Kra Daadi district of state. She was born on July 3 2007 passed away Tuesday at a nursing home at Dibrugarh in Assam.

Late Jomin was one of the best players and participated in 6th international karate championship held at Kolkotta, West Bengal in 2022 and secured gold medal. She takes part in All India inter SAI karate held at Imphal, Manipur in 2023 and received bronze medal. She takes part in Sansad khel sphardha held at Rajiv Gandhi university, Rono hills, Doimukh and received bronze medal. 

Late Jomin was a AKA sub-junior & cadet state level karate cum pre silver jublee celebration 2022 and was a bronze medal winner and takes part in 1st AKA karate premier league held at Naharlagun and was a silver medal winner.
