YUPIA, APRIL 24 : The BJP state President and Pakke kessang MLA Biyuram Wahge has today flagged off cycle rally for awareness among the citizens on Covid pandemic in rural area and people living on both side of Trans Arunachal Highway from Yupia in Papum Pare district to Pakke Kesang township in Pakke kessang district.
Wahge attending the ceremony said that time has come and it is the need of hour after the surge of Covid pandemic and the 2nd wave which has hit the state, country and world we need to remain alert and cautious and need to know as how to stay fit and fine with a healthy body and sound mind.
Terming the youth as future of tomorrow, Wahge said that such cycling and such rally will not only provide advertisement of the area but also bring a good name of the good people of the area about the hospitality and the way of life to the world over. Wahge added.
He further urged the cyclist also to create awareness during the ride to inform the locals resident to take covid vaccine.
It is to inform that more than two dozen cyclists have joined the rally. The members are from various parts of state and Assam. The cycle ride was held under the theme of ‘ Pedal 2 Pakke’ by one XCM Itanagar-Pakke kessang from 23rd to 25th April 2021.
