ITANAGAR, JULY 9 : The youth body of Jullang area on Saturday has carried out awareness and plantation drive in various part of Jollang panchayat in capital complex.
The Jollang gram Panchayat Chairperson Tana Taha Tara motivated the youths and ask them to create awareness on several important issue being faced by the general public of the area in particular and capital complex in general. There are several important issue like plantation activities, eviction of domestic animals from the streets and institutional campus, he said.
Now a days the most important issue is disposal of garbage properly and therefore everyone has to extend helping hand and cooperate with the garbage managing committee so that the garbage are disposed-off properly and timely he said.
The GPC appeal the authority of educational and other institutional of the area which include Don Bosco college, Donbosco School, Himalayan University HIM international school, Jail authority and other to organize plantation activities so that our young generation will carry forward such good work even in their respective school, offices and at home and wherever they live and serve. He said.
He said that on Saturday more than 100 sapling and plant were planted at general ground and Govt. Middle school, Jollang and also created awareness on clean and green Jollang mission to the locals and denizens.
The plantation programme was organised by Jollang panchayat in collaboration with Jully valley youth welfare association.
