Tagik moves to FCI executive director for shifting of FCI Godown at Koloriang

ITANAGAR, JUNE 9: The former Kurung Kumey Zila parishad Chairperson Sangha Tagik on Wednesday has meet the Food corporation of India (FCI) Executive Director (North East) M K Gogoi at GL Publication building, Ulubari Guwahati and discuss various issue related to the supply of essential commodities specially ration items and other PDS supply related issue of state in general and Kurung Kumey in particular.

Tagik inform that today meeting with the FCI ED was necessary as the people of Kurung Kumey has been facing lots of untold suffering due to non receipt of essential items timely specially ration (Rice) allocated by government of India through several schemes to the poor people, above poverty line, IAY, GHH, AAY due to bad weather, bad road and under construction of Trans Arunachal Highway (TAH) and other reason, the solution of all the problems is to shift the godown from Ziro to Koloriang to its own place as per requirement of the general masses of the people of Kurung Kumey district for smooth distribution. He said. 

The space for the FCI godown has already been managed in Koloriang on a temporary basis with some manpower by the district administration and I have urged upon the Executive Director for necessary action. He said adding that the meeting was very positive and the ED has assured to take necessary action at an early date.
