SSB Organizes Blood Donation Camp in Tawang, Donating Seven Units of Blood

In a noble initiative, the 67 Bn of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) in Lungla organized a successful blood donation camp at Khandro Drowa Tsangmo district hospital in Tawang. Led by their esteemed Commandant Atul Kumar Rai and Medical Officer Dr. Atulya Pratap Singh, seven jawans and officers of the battalion came forward to donate seven units of blood.

Prior to the donation, the Commandant addressed the SSB Personnel at the battalion headquarters, emphasizing the significance of donating blood and the precautions to be taken. Stressing the importance of this life-saving act, he encouraged all the family members of the jawans and officers from his battalion to join in and donate blood on World Blood Donation Day, which is celebrated on 14th June 2023. He urged their participation in making the upcoming blood donation Amrit Mahotsawa a resounding success.

The SSB’s blood donation camp not only showcased their commitment to serving the community but also exemplified their dedication to promoting the spirit of philanthropy among their ranks.
