Several fire accident reported in Itanagar, Fire officers appeal the denizens to remain alert

ITANAGAR, JAN 10 : Several fire accident has been reported from various parts of Itanagar city. The fire officers of Itanagar fire station K T Gambo has appeal the city dwellers to remain alert and maintain precautionary measures to stay safe from repeated fire accident. 

The Itanagar fire station Officers Incharge K T Gambo has informed that several fire calls are being received and several fire accident occur may be due to change in weather condition, Jhum cultivation and also due to negligence and careless in kitchen and home during night hours and otherwise. He said.

A report of fire accident has been reported in hay stake at lower chimpu, Itanagar. The fire call was received at 12.45 and two fire tender were pressed into service. The fire were originated form hay of one Tana Dani. The cause of the fire is not known. He said.

The fire staffs also attended fire call on 07/01/024 at around 0320hrs at D- Sector residential complex of DC capital Itanagar. Fire damaged SPT ( Assam type house-1  no.,OBT ( poultry farm house-01no including chickens and SPT house ( store room-01 no. Total rooms 10nos. Vehicles damaged by the fire; 01no hero Honda M/C completely gutted, 01no.Tata mobile registration no. AR01IS- 2003 back side seat & glass damaged and 407 Registration No.AR-01K-0075 front bumper damaged due to heating. No lives loss and injury. Cause of fire unknown. During fire ground capital D.C. Talo Potum appreciate fire teams for quick response. Details report may after final enquiry please. The OC Itanagar Fire station added.

He further appeal the denizen to remain alert and maintain precautionary measure to remain safe form loss of life and property even in case fire accidents are reported. We should check the place of fire before sleep. We should switch off unnecessary electric appliances if not necessary. Check the gas cylinder after cooking is over. Maintain alertness to remain safe.
