NAHARLAGUN, AUG 5 : The capital police after finding no source and option of repairing and maintenance of the huge pothole at the Yupia tri junction on NH-415 in Papunallah, the team led by City SP has repaired it on temporary basis with the support of locals and security personnels.
SP Jimmy Chiram informed the media, ‘the Yupia tri junction is a busy junction with full volume of traffic during the day and even in evening hours. The damaged road condition adds untold suffering to commuters’ he said. We have taken the support of the public and hired two JCBs and we are trying to fill up the potholes with the help of security personnel of the capital police from Naharlagun police station and ITW. He said.
The SDPO Naharlagun, Dy SP Traffic and OC Naharlagun and other officers of capital police today tried to fill up the potholes so that the speed of the vehicle does not get stopped and continue to move so that the traffic does not get stopped and continue to move. SP said.
It is a small beginning and I hope that the upcoming national highway also gets started and all the traffic issues are resolved. SP added.
He urges upon all sections of society that do not wait for other action, help and support but try to come forward for help, support others who are in need and during of urgency and crisis but in the capability with a civic sense.
SP further appeal all denizens of capital city not to throw garbage in streets and here and there and maintain the all roads including the national highway clean, obey traffic rule, respect other to get respect, maintain civic sense and we should try to speed up these activities so that our society become much better and our capital complex become a better place to live.
