Sagalee sub-division to opt several preventive measures from infection of Covid surge in circle

ITANAGAR, MAY 06: The stakeholders of Sagalee sub-division in Papum Pare district have discussed various issues regarding surge in Covid 19 infection in state and country due to its second wave and preventive measures.

A coordination meeting was held on May 5 (Wednesday) at ADC office and discussed about the COVID-19 management and control measures in the Sagalee Sub- Division. The Sagalee administration will also comply with Deputy Commissioner, Papum Pare Order No. DC/PP/CVD- 19/01/2020/PC, Dated 30* April’ 2021, a Night Curfew will be imposed from 9 PM to 5 AM in the Sagalee Sub Division. An order issued in this regard said.
The PWD Circuit House at Pang, Urban Development Guest House Sagalee and Indoor Stadium near GHSS Sagalee will be identified as Covid Care Centre Sagalee in case of emergency. Proposal for the renovation and maintenance of these buildings will be sent to the government for consideration. The minutes of the meeting said.

The medical authority of Sagalee has been asked to submit proposals of requirements like Medicines, PPE, Oxygen Cylinder. Ventilator, sufficient Covid-19 vaccination etc. for the entire Sagalee Sub Division to the competent authority.

The Police and other administrative officers has been directed to to ensure the COVID-19 related order are followed strictly e.g COVID-19 appropriate behaviours like compulsory wearing of Face Mask, use of Hand Sanitizers, maintaining Social Distance, following of Night Curfew in the sub-division.

However, former Chief Minister and Sagalee MLA Nabam Tuki has assured to provide funds for procurement of facemask and hand sanitizers. The sources informed.

The coordination meeting was attended by ADC Sagalee Audil Toko, former CM and local MLA Nabam Tuki Medical officer incharge Dr. Toker Nyodu, , EAC Koj Tacho, Medical Officer Dr. Rupu Welly, Police officer Joram Takap, PI Nabam Tam and others.
