ITANAGAR, Apr 19 : The Sagalee police of Papum Pare district on Wednesday has appeal the public to help in identification of a body found dean in Pare river on Wednesday afternoon near sorro village in Toru circle.
Sagalee police station sources inform that an information of a dead body has been received from a local who was on fishing in Pare river that a body is found to be floating in the river near Sorro river in Toru circle. After reaching the spot it was found that a body of a male in half naked is floating in middle of Pare river between tow stones. Only blue colour jeans paint was found was fully decomposed. was retrieved. He Said.
Inquest and PME was conducted on the spot by the Executive magistrate and locals but could not be identified. The identity of the body was not known and yet to be identified. Messaged has been circulated in the locality and locals has been informed but could not indentify. He said.
The body may be in the river for long time and body is almost decomposed but ascertaining the locality of any missing people
A case has been registered at Sagalee police station vide UD case no-06/2023 u/s 174 CrPc and the body has been kept a RK Mission hospital morgue and appeal the people to help in identification. The bdoy would be kept for next 72 hours for identification and would be disposed off as per law. Added police officer of Sagalee Police station.
