ITANAGAR, JULY 2: In a tragic road accident on Hoj-Nichipu Trans Arunachal Highway in Sagalee sub-division between a light motor vehicle and a two wheeler one person died on spot on Friday morning. Informed an official.
Sagalee Police station officer Joram Takap inform that as per information the accident takes place on Hoj-Nichipu TAH near Balapu village under Sagalee sub-division, The accident in which two vehicle were involved which include a light motor vehicle Hyundai i10 Car bearing registration No-AR 01H 1671 coming from Itanagar to Seppa and two wheeler motorcycle bearing registration No-AR 01L 8174 coming from Bana toward Itanagar wherein the two wheeler rider reportedly died on spot. The police officer said.
The deceased has been identified as Tapir Degio. s/o Pemasang Degio, 21 years. Inquiries were performed, the body was sent for PME, after performing the PME the body was handed over to parents for conducting last rites, the police officer said.
As per information it is reported that both the motorcycle and car collided on NH-13 (TAH) near Balapu village at around 7.30 AM in which the rider of two wheeler died on spot. He said.
It is also to inform that the car which was involved in the accident was burned down on the spot before it was brought to the police station for further investigation. As such a case has been registered and the driver riding the car has been arrested. SI Joram Takap added.
