Rs. 11.69 crore will be disbursed as compensation to 136 beneficiaries of NH-415 from Nirjuli to Banderdewa

NAHARLAGUN, May 21: Rs. 11.69 crore will be disbursed as  compensation for structures and assets on National Highway (NH-415) from Nirjuli to Banderdewa for Package-C has been scheduled for disbursement from May 24th to 28th. Informed Naharlagun EAC and Highway Compensation Board Chairman Likha Radh.

Radh inform the press that all total 136 beneficiaries will be given away with the compensation  subject to production of original document for their claim supported by photo, bank passbook photocopy and identification proof before the board which shall began at Circle Office at Banderdewa from 10 AM onwards upto 4 PM. He said.

The disbursement shall continue upto May 28 during the office working hours only. All rules and regulations have already been circulated and informed accordingly through the local daily and other sources. EAC said.

The compensation is being paid from the chainage no-51.700 to 59.199 of 7.5 Kilometer from catholic church located at Nirjuli to Banderdewa. An amount of Rs. 11.69 crore will be disbursed to the beneficiaries. EAC Radh said.

He further appealed to all the beneficiaries to maintain social distance and understand the Covid 19 behavior and maintain the Covid protocol at the venue and no person will be allowed in the campus without wearing a facemask during the disbursement at the CO Office at Banderdewa. EAC Radh further said. 

As per information the highest amount of compensation to the beneficiaries is Rs. 72.07 lakhs while the lowest amount is stated to be Rs. 3.794/=
